Are my kids a good age for Universal?🌎✨

My kids has a BLAST at Universal and I would totally take them back! My daughter is already saying “When we go back there..”

Did they get to enjoy everything Universal has?

Absolutely not.

They really loved only a select few things, at Islands of Adventure they liked Storm Force Acelerator and loved Seuss Landing so much we had to go back our second day🤣

They did go on rides like Kong (they both cried), Flight of the Hippogriff, Spiderman, Fast and Furious

and then at Universal they liked DreamWorks land, ET, and loved meeting characters!

I feel like there is definitely more for an older crowd and wouldn’t say too much time is necessary to spend here with littles, we spent I would say really 1.5 days here and we felt that was a good amount of time for them🙊 but that’s just my opinion!

For me, Jollywood nights was 10/10!💜✨

-The throwback Hollywood glam vibe😍

-The shows, the music, the characters!🥰

I mean, look at my little guy getting to hug Mike from Monsters Inc😍

This was super fun, it is a later event doesn’t begin until 7:30, my kids both fell asleep in the stroller by 9/9:30, but they still had a blast!

As I mentioned the Royal Caribbean Main Dining Room needed its own post!

I apparently only took a photo of my food one out of the 4 nights!🤣

Main Dining Room is included in your cruise fare.

If you choose a time for dining you will be sat at the same table every night with the same waiter, I love this!
- You can also do a My Time dining where you can go whenever you’d like but you may have to wait for a table, and will not have the same waiter.

- The menu rotates and is different nightly and you normally know the menu options about a week or 2 before your sailing. You get the choice of a starter, entree and dessert- and you can pick multiple of each!! Most nights I ordered 2 staters!🤣

They will also have at least 1 formal night depending on the length of your cruise, as well as some fun themed night! (We had Caribbean night!)

The Main Dining room also serves breakfast and lunch however there is no set time, seating or wait staff/ so you may have to wait for a table.

Let’s talk Royal Caribbean and what is included food wise on your sailing!

-All ships have a Windjammer which is their food service area that is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, you go as you please- tons of different options to choose from

-All ships also have a few other spots where you can grab and go some quick lunch/dinned/snack like items!
🍤 We were on the Independence of the Seas and they had Fish and Ships where everyday we tabbed some fried shrimp!🤣 they also had a few other options too! (Other ships have different spots)
🍕A Good amount of ships also have Sorrento’s pizza- they are also open late for you to grab and go! I actually really liked the pizza!

Main Dining room is also included in your cruise fare- but that’s going to get its own post so stay tuned! They also serve breakfast and lunch but dinner is the most popular! For dinner you can choose a dining time or do My Time to go as you please. Breakfast and lunch might be a wait as you would be seated and served by staff differently than dinner!

My kids first visit to Universal Orlando was a success I would say!✨

We only stayed for 1 night, we did a park on arrival day, next morning loaded the car with our luggage for check out and went back to spend a whole day at the parks!

We stayed at Portofino Bay which is a premier resort so that we got included express passes to skip the lines- a must! (Some rides not included)

Not only the express pass but the proximity to the parks was amazing! We had the option to take a boat, walk or a bus! For the boat we went through security to get on and were dropped off right in the middle of City Walk! It was amazing!😍
