My Story
I’ve always loved to travel. At just a few months old, my parents had me on a plane to visit relatives. And I’ve always loved Disney. Living in California for a while, we visited Disneyland quite a bit! Then we moved east and Walt Disney World filled that magic void. As a teen, my mom worked as a travel agent and I would sometimes help, stuffing envelopes - dreaming of all the places in the brochures that would pass through my fingers. We even visited an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica when I was 14.
My dream job as a child was to be a flight attendant, but after college, I settled into the role of a project manager. I love planning events and helping streamline activities to make the most efficient use of time.
Fast forward: While planning my first family trip to Disney World, I realized just how much work is required! It was quite overwhelming (and still can be!). However, I dove into it and found something that melded my love & passion for Disney and my savvy for project management. Friends and family called me for help and would encourage me to do it professionally. Five years ago, I took the plunge and signed on as a Travel Agent with Magical Adventures Travel!! Now I get to plan Disney almost every day! People often say to find a job you love and it won’t be a job – SO TRUE!!
Yes, Disney is my niche, but I’ve been fortunate to expand my knowledge and offer so much more - like cruises, all-inclusive resorts, and guided tours. Each day brings new adventures!
The brochures add dreamy ideas to my bucket list. I can’t visit all those places myself, but I can tag along so many magical adventures by helping YOU plan YOUR dream trip!
