Are you planning on taking a cruise this summer?!? For us, cruising has become a summer tradition and our next cruise is just a little over a month away! At the port your bags will be taken from you and then delivered to your stateroom later that same day! One thing I tried differently on our last cruise was instead of unpacking right when our stateroom was ready, I waited until after dinner and got our daughter in bed to unpack. Usually I am hyper-focused on unpacking and getting everything where I want it. However, I found it easier to unpack when everyone was resting. This freed up time for us to explore the ship, enjoy the sunset as we left port, get a drink, swim and do some putt-putt when these areas were not to crowded! I enjoyed getting right into the vacation and worrying about the details later! Use this tip on your next cruise! You deserve it! ❤️

Becoming a mother was always something I wanted to be! Over 4 years and 4 pregnancies later, God blessed me with the two of you and I am so honored to be called ma, mama, mom and whatever other silly words you decide to call me. I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Dear Greyson, you are what I have been praying for these last two years! You truly are the happiest baby! After a hard day, you cheer me up with your silly smiles where you stick your tongue out 😂 Your are starting to become more active and love hearing yourself talk. It’s the silliest thing! We are just getting started but I can’t wait for the adventures we will have with you and sissy!
Motherhood isn’t always easy but there is nothing like it. No matter how old you two get or what you become, I’ll always be your mama and for that my heart is full! ❤️

Looking for family-friendly hiking trails?Yellowstone National Park has several family-friendly hikes. The Grand Prismatic Overlook Trail is one trail that is completely paved! It has an incline to hike to the top of the spring but it is completely paved and stroller friendly! Want to more of more hikes like this, message me!

Planning is an important step in being prepared and ready for any outdoor adventure. You never want to overestimate your hiking abilities either. Before heading out, pick the right trail for you and your group. Recognize your abilities and the abilities of your group and choose a trail (flat or with some elevation) that everyone can successfully complete and enjoy safely. National parks are a great place to begin your new year's resolution of enjoying the health benefits of parks while also admiring the stunning winter scenery. “First Day Hikes" is a tradition started by state park systems inviting everyone to take a hike in a park on January 1 to encourage healthy activities in the outdoors all year long. Whether you walk, run, or even bike or paddle, come out to explore the trails in your national parks too!

Step 1: Find a park
Step 2: Plan ahead
Step 3: Set a goal
Step 4: Step off!
Step 5: Repeat until you reach your goal for the year

Calling all fellow adventurers! Did you know that a new State Park is set to open up in Texas in 2023?! Palo Pinto Mountains State Park has been in the works for the past ten years!
