Currently in Denmark, WA. The last few weeks we have explored Albany, including little beach which was Tarn’s favourite beach so far. The valley of the giants tree top walk, zorbing today, and visiting dinosaur world and holding the reptiles and birds.

Cruz started homeschooling yesterday, his first day in year one with mum as his teacher! Turns out he likes it heaps better than normal school when it only goes for a third of the time.

We head to Manjimup on Saturday gearing up for a week or so in Margaret River. 🙌🏼🍷

📍 GREAT OCEAN ROAD TO MOUNT GAMBIER

Big day driving and sight seeing for the kids yesterday but ticked heaps off the bucket list!

✔️ Cape Otway Lighthouse
✔️12 Apostles
✔️Lord Ard Gorge (currently closed to get down to the beach which was dissapointing!)
✔️London Bridge
✔️The Grotto
✔️ Little Blue Lake

We made it to our free camp at The Bellum Hotel by 6.30pm, the pub was old school, the staff down to earth and the feed was great!

This morning we went and seen the Umpherston Sinkhole at Mount Gambier, The Blue Lake and on our drive to Victor Harbor we found a pink lake. Way too windy for the drone but so beautiful!! 😍

📍APOLLO BAY, VIA GREAT OCEAN ROAD

Wow! The drive was beautiful. We started the day jumping on the ferry from Sorrento to Queenscliff. The kids loved this. The ferry had a playground on board and the best coffee ☕️

A quick 45 minutes later we were off to tackle the Great Ocean Road. The road was just beautiful, narrow at times with the van, but simply stunning.

We arrived at Apollo Bay and it is freezing! 😂🥶I’m living in the only jumper I packed taking the term ‘chasing the sun’ way too literal before we took off.

We made the most of our time here, checked out The Cape Otoway Tree Top Walk, strolled through town and of course stopped in for a beer at the pub.

📍 CAMERON’S BIGHT - MORNINGTON PENINSULA

We stayed on site 95, with access straight down to the beach behind us!

We absolutely loved Peninsula Hot Springs! With over 50 thermal pools it was a massive hit for our family. Most pools sat between 36-40 degrees, including cold plunge pools, ice room, sauna and sound room.

Cruz even caught two blue tongues!

📍 WYANGA PARK WINERY

Day 3 - We were lucky to find this great low cost camp! Located a short drive inland from Lakes Entrance it was perfect to break the trip as we travelled towards Mornington Peninsula.

💲purchase anything at the restaurant or cellar door and stay a night at the winery for free.

📍 LAKE CONJOLA - BIG 4

The kids had an absolute ball here. The pool was great it even had a section in the pool filled with sand, perfect for building sand castles in the shallows for little ones.

Quick trip into Ulladulla - my home town and a few afternoons beside the lake, cooking a feed . Was a beaut, relaxing spot.
