We're at the beach house this week doing a deep cleaning and stocking up for a summer full of guests but Holden and I took the morning off and went to the amazing Regatta Park in Lincoln City. If you're in the area, definitely check it out! Great wooden climbing structure, accessible playground equipment, a sand box, a large green area and hiking trails, ducks, plenty of parking, a bathroom, checkers/chess boards, picnic tables, and a life jacket loaning station which I appreciate for walks on the floating dock. (They even have life jackets for furry friends!)

Like a lot of things this year, hosting amid all of the restrictions has been challenging. But providing guests with a clean, comfortable place to escape and receiving reviews like this makes it all worthwhile! Thank you Richard!

Thank you to Hillary Gibson for this side-by-side of the view from our deck! We are thankful to have the blue sky back and the house is clean, smoke free, and welcoming guests again. Our hearts go out to those who were impacted by the wildfires. Thank you to Adrienne Butzer who connected us with a family that lost everything in the fire and are expecting a new baby any day. We are honored to be able to pass on some of our little guy's things to help welcome their baby boy. The coastal communities are strong and will come together to rebuild!

Lincoln County Order No. 4-20-118 prohibits short term rentals through May 31, 2020. While we are disappointed that many families have had their vacations cancelled, we trust that these decisions are being made with the best interest of the coastal communities that we love in mind. We look forward to welcoming guests again as soon as possible!

Oregon Coast

Whales may be seen off the OR coast year round but you are most likely to see gray whales migrating to Alaska from mid-March to the end of May. Some very lucky guests spotted this beauty and we're so glad they shared this photo!
