Davis Drum was started in 2011 when 15 year olds Daniel and Jo stumbled upon cajon drums on the internet. Fascinated they proceeded to create their own cajons out of materials found in their families shops in rural Northeastern Saskatchewan. Though proud of their product, they found flaws and proceeded to make modified versions. While trying to find the ultimate combination of style, sound and pr
acticality the 2 proceeded to create many proto-cajons with constant improvement. The current Davis One model is the result of these years of trial and error, comparisons and sound dynamic research. They sold their first cajon in 2012. While developing their product alongside their growing website design, marketing and customer relation skills more became interested in this unique product. In 2014 Braeden, brother of Jo, joined the duo at DavisDrum to help continue growing Davis Drum. Today Davis Drum is ran by the part time collaborative effort of this trio.
