Of course, the ability to ride a horse helps! This safari is best for confident riders, but if you’re booking as a private group or family, we can cater to all experience levels—even complete beginners. And if someone in your group prefers to keep their feet firmly on the ground, that’s no problem! Non-riders are welcome too, with plenty of ways to enjoy the magic of Similaha from a different perspective.
Run with passion and expertise by our friends, the Evans family, this is Zambia’s only dedicated horseback safari, set in the remote and little-known Similaha Community Conservancy. With no predators to worry about, you can fully relax and enjoy the ride— This safari can be built into a longer wildlife journey to one or more of Zambians' wonderfully wild and game-rich national parks and it's close enough to visit Victoria Falls.
