La Befana comes tonight on the eve of the Epiphany! 🧙‍♀️🧹She is an old friendly witch like figure who flies on a broomstick as she goes from house to house. She enters and leaves the homes via the chimney leaving sweets and gifts for well behaved children and coal to those who are not. Legend has it that she uses her broomstick to sweep away all the problems of the year! Large festivals are celebrated in her honor throughout Italy. One of the biggest La Befana celebrations takes place in Urbania in the Marche region during a four day festival from January 2-6th! I just love this Festa della Befana! Stockings are hung from every window in the town with anticipation of her sweet arrival!🇮🇹❤️🎉 She will be visiting our home tonight..will she be visiting yours? 📸 👏

I’m super excited to expand my planning to Greece, Portugal, Spain and France! As much as I would love to take on more clients this year.. I simply cannot because I have reached my maximum caseload of 20 trips planned already for 2024! The desire to visit Italy and Europe this year has been unprecedented outperforming last year! 🇮🇹 I am so EXCITED for all of you to experience the beauty and the charm of Italy and Europe! You will be experiencing the genuine, authentic experiences by my passionate partners who will be embracing you with their customs as you meet local producers, local guides who represent and love their homeland! So excited for Carnival time in Venice! It began yesterday Saturday February 3rd and ends on February 13th 🎭 This year the Carnival’s theme is To The Orient “Marco Polo’s Amazing Journey” On the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo’s death, he is back to his Venice lagoon as a protagonist of the Venetian carnival tradition! The Rio di Cannaregio will become an impressive water show with their floating structures celebrating travel, discovery, and encounters with previously only imagined worlds! 🎭 Experience the enchantment!!
