A gem and mineral adventure like no other Topaz Mountain Adventures has acquired three mining operations in the Thomas Range of Juab County, Utah.

Two of the operations produce primarily amber Topaz, the third operation produces primarily Bixbyite. The first operation is Topaz Dome, a private mineral lease on School Trust land within the widely known Topaz Mountain Rockhound Recreation Area. Topaz Mountain Adventures is the only entity permitted to use power equipment and explosives within the area. Topaz Dome is known to produce large, exqu

isitely colored, museum quality Topaz crystals. Garnet, Bixbyite and Red Beryl have also been found in the area. The second operation is known for producing clusters of Topaz crystals in a Rhyolite matrix. The third operation produces primarily Bixbyite crystals, also in a Rhyolite matrix.
