We are both intrepid world travelers always looking for unique experiences to share with a global audience. We have outgoing personalities and fluency in several languages, which helps us quickly develop trust with local people. We hope to inspire travelers of all ages to expand their geographic and cultural boundaries. Our recent trip to Nepal exceeded all our expectations!

Why? Because we had the absolute good fortune to meet the Malla sisters in Pokhara. The Malla Dynasty ruled Nepal from the 12th to 16th centuries. At that time the name Malla indicated a person of great strength and power! In many ways the Malla period of rule in Nepal was much like the Italian Renaissance … Just visit Patan and walk amongst the many temples to understand that. Much like the extraordinary temples in Pagan the Malla sisters themselves are a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered – and to our everlasting pleasure we discovered them in Pokhara. Over a two week period we trekked in the Himalayas, biked in Pokhara, visited Para Gliding sites including the unbelievable para hawking experience with Steve & Anita Mason, boated and hiked above on Lake Begnas, took in the best museums in Pokhara…. all under the guidance and loving care of the Malla sisters …. Hira & Bishnu! They are both not only competent … but incredibly fun to be with! This video is dedicated to them. They made our experience in Nepal a great success. Bravo! 💖Ghorepani can normally be reached by foot from Birethanti in about 10 hours depending on the trekkers However, many trekkers prefer to overnight at one of the lower villages Hile/Thikhedhunga or either Ulleri . on the way to Ghorepani the trail increase in altitude and the beauty of the natural surroundings. Nowadays trekkers can reach Ulleri/Banthati by bus or jeep and can reach after 3 hrs drive from pokhara and another 3 hour normal trek to Ghorepani.

View of Rara Lake from Murma Top

Rara Lake is the largest freshwater lake. It is situated in the Mugu Districts of karnali province. It is the primary characteristic of Rara National Park. At a height of 2,972 meters from sea level. Rara Lake is 10.8 sq km in size and may reach a maximum length of 5 km, a maximum width of 3.2 km, and a depth of 167 m.

“Murma Top,” which is 3726 meters above sea level, provides the best view of Rara. Rara Lake, which has the appearance of a bowl, can best be seen from Murmatap.
