This furnace was being used until 1930s to smelt iron spears, arrow-heads,knives and hoes by the early settlers on nyika plateau. It still stands to this date.

on 10th sept we arrived at livingstonia mission town,its beautiful buildings are always amazing to my guests,the church,stone house ,technical college and the hospital draws tourists from all walks of life.
-have seen my guests dropping tears as they read letters of david livingstone to his son when he writes about his wife's death .marry moffat .during his missionary exipeditions in africa and her body never to go back to europe.
we finish our day as we settle at mushroom farm ,beautiful views of the lake,nice food and cold DRINKS.
