STG is a non for profit, entertainment group operating under an aim to explore and discover new places within K.S.A. Every Friday STG organizes a road trip with the purpose of exploration & venturing for outstanding landscape photography. STG- Dare to Discover is my brainchild, translati

ng my point of interest in to reality, through my off-road 4x4 drive, desert safari, quad biking, mountain camping, exploring lakes, caves, jungles, architectural landscape, petroglyphs, ancient rocks, art heritage & archaeological sites. I started off with this activity in the year 2005. The passion behind the creation of STG was mainly a strong urge and my eagerness to travel, discover and explore KSA in order to answer to the frequently made complaints about lack of travel opportunities, absence of adventures and having no travel spots in KSA. Therefore, I finally decided to show up my self and my maneuvers through an official STG group on social media. My photographs, videos and research on several natural travel spots and other beautiful places of Saudi Arabia are my answer to those friends who felt lack of charm in KSA. STG proves to be the best platform for those who, seek to travel for tourism, are interested in adventurous activities, photography & are motivated to reach out to nature's scenic beauty. $500 Billion Investment to Transform Saudi Arabia into a Global Tourism Hub

As part of Saudi Vision 2030, His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism, announced a groundbreaking investment of $500 billion to develop new, world-class tourism destinations. This announcement was made during the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos.

🔸 Sustainability at the Core of Tourism Development
During a session titled "Expanding Sustainable Tourism: Connecting People and Places," Al Khateeb emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to sustainability. Iconic projects like AlUla and the Red Sea are being designed using eco-friendly materials, aligning with global environmental standards. Saudi Arabia is also committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2060.

🔸 Green Initiatives Leading the Way
Through the Saudi Green Initiative and Riyadh Green Initiative, millions of trees are being planted, reinforcing the Kingdom's dedication to environmental sustainability and climate action by 2030.

🔸 Tourism Sector: A Story of Success and Growth
In another session, "The Role of Travel and Tourism in Building Trust," Al Khateeb highlighted the significant growth of Saudi Arabia's tourism sector. Its contribution to the GDP has increased from 3% to 5%, with a goal of reaching 10% by 2030. The Kingdom's approach has become a global model for development and innovation in tourism.

في يوم 3 يناير 2025، حوالي الساعة 2:00 ظهرًا، اتصلت بصديقي ألطامش وطلبت منه الانضمام إليّ لاستكشاف مكان جديد، حيث أننا عادةً ما نخصص أيام الجمعة للمغامرات ورحلات الطرق الوعرة. بحلول الساعة 3:00 ظهرًا، وصل ألطامش وانطلقنا معًا في رحلتنا إلى وادٍ خلاب بالقرب من مدينة الرياض. قمنا باستكشاف الوادي، والتقطنا مناظر خلابة، وعثرنا على بعض الكهوف أثناء التنزه. بحلول الساعة 5:00 مساءً، قررنا العودة إلى المنزل. وفي طريق العودة، حوالي الساعة 5:35 مساءً، رأينا سيارة سيدان معلقة على حافة منحدر. توقفنا لتقييم الوضع، ولكن لم نجد أحدًا داخل السيارة أو بالقرب منها. افترضنا أن السائق ذهب لطلب المساعدة، فغادرنا المكان وأكملنا طريقنا إلى المنزل. في وقت لاحق من تلك الليلة، حوالي الساعة 1:00 صباحًا، اتصل بي صديقي أسامة وطلب مني الانضمام إليه لتناول القهوة في الصحراء. على الرغم من أنني كنت متعبًا، وافقت. وأثناء الطريق، أخبرت أسامة عن الوادي الجميل الذي زرته في وقت سابق من اليوم، وقررنا الذهاب إلى نفس المكان لتناول القهوة. عندما وصلنا إلى هناك، فوجئنا بأن نفس السيارة ما زالت موجودة على حافة المنحدر. كان محركها يعمل، والمدفأة مشغلة، وكانت درجة الحرارة الخارجية 6 درجات مئوية. مع عدم وجود تغطية لشبكة الجوال، أشعلنا المصبا

Our Story

“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” Andre Gide Welcome to the adventure board of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - The land of hidden treasures. We are Saudi Tourism Group (STG-D2D) because “We Dare to Discover” STG - a non for profit, entertainment group that aspires to explore and discover new places within K.S.A. STG heads on to road trips with the idea of exploration & venturing for outstanding landscape photography on weekly basis. Kashan Rizvi- an expat, who grew up in Jeddah and Riyadh, envisioned STG and practically responded to frequently made complaints about lack of travel opportunities, absence of adventures and having no travel spots in KSA by starting off formally with this journey of exploration in 2005. His unique idea of noncommercial hunt for hidden and potential spots purely for the sake of tourism development was widely acknowledged by the enthusiasts for traveling. STG is not only promoting tourism in KSA but its widely contributing to visual media available of various unexplored or rarely visited adventure spots in KSA. This contribution of STG has earned international recognition and acknowledgment as STG’s visual media aired by History Channel in their series “The Desert Codes” which is a milestone achievement by STG-D2D. Today, STG-D2D has flourished in to an illustrious platform for adventure and travel aficionado in KSA. Having on its credit, numerous off-road 4x4 drives, desert safari, quad biking, mountain camping, exploration of lakes, caves, jungles, architectural landscape, petroglyphs, ancient rocks, art heritage & archaeological sites, STG can boast for thousands of its admirers coming from all walks of life, representing different regions on globe. A multi talented passionate team of organizers play their individual roles translating the point of interest in to reality i.e. eagerness and a profound urge to travel, discover and explore KSA.
