Lest we forget

West Bremer Radio, Ipswich’s independent Radio Station, continues its commitment to keeping it local, by live streaming the 2024 Ipswich RSL Sub Branch Anzac Day Parade.
ANZAC Day is a day where our nation recognises the sacrifices that our veterans and serving members of the Australian Defence Force make.
West Bremer Radio will live stream the entire parade commercial free from 10.30am on the radio platforms of www.westbremerradio.com.au, on the dedicated app, which is free to download, and on Alexa and Google smart home speakers. Multiple cameras in Brisbane street will capture the action for viewers through the West Bremer Radio page.
Heading up the commentary team is the West Bremer Radio breakfast announcer Damien Lee, with special commentary from former Warrant Officer Steven Voll.
Steven started his Defence career in the Army and says it was after being inside a C130 that his passion for flying was reignited. During his career, Steven has been deployed multiple times including stints in Qatar, Papua New Guinea, and Afghanistan.

West Bremer Radio Station Manager, Bradley Clarke, said “this was an important event on the stations calendar. It is an opportunity for us to bring the parade to listeners and viewers no matter where they are. We expect viewers from Ipswich deployed overseas to join us, along with local residents who may not be able to travel into the CBD.”
Through it’s commitment for live and local coverage in Ipswich, West Bremer Radio offers this valuable community service free of charge for all to enjoy.
