Dear Santa 🎅, just in case you were wondering, I’m a size 14 days in Marbella. How about a stay at Puente Romano Beach Resort, and a pass to the Six Senses spa, to boot?

It’s beginning to look a lot like time to be basking under palm trees with cocktails in La Plaza – so buzzing even the locals see it as the place to be on the weekend – and watching flamenco shows at El Pimpi Tapas bar.

“Italy progress report: I’ve touched base with the beach in Rimini, updated my files (i.e. my photo albums) on a road trip from Salerno to the Amalfi Coast and run important tests to determine the best gelateria in Olbia.”

From May 2025, British Airways flights will be taking off to Rimini – where Italians go for classic beach holidays – and Salerno where visitors have great access to the four P's: Positano, Pompeii, Paestum and, of course, pizza 🍕

An additional flight per week to Olbia, where you can hire a car and set off on a sand-seeking Sardinian adventure, will also be added in summer 2025. Make it your business to live la dolce vita.
