Eastern Sierra Drifters Aerostats Aloft in the Eastern Sierra! Dedicated to the exploits, adventures, and feats of hot air ballooning and enthusiasts of the east side and beyond!

In 2007 we first visited the Great Reno Balloon Race, hoping to have fun and maybe, just maybe get to get in the basket for a few seconds as ballast weight. We kept going back, eventually becoming a sponsor for a balloon and our own balloon team. By 2012, we had our own pilot, Drew Foster. By the fall of 2013, we had our own balloon, the Desert Peach, and started flying whenever we wanted, wherever we wanted. It is only up from here.
