Hill View Cottage is a pretty, traditional two-bedroomed stone cottage set on a hillside with wonderful views of the upper Weardale valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped with a cosy living/dining and kitchen area featuring a stone-built open fireplace and coach-house door out to an enclosed private garden with a patio area for relaxed

summer evenings. Pets are welcome to stay at the cottage by prior arrangement

The nearby village of St John’s Chapel is approx 1.5 miles away and has a store, post office, town hall with a gym and cinema, doctor’s surgery and ambulance station. It’s a perfect place to stay for many outdoor pursuits such as walking the Pennine Way, cycling the Coast to Coast or horse riding. There are also many places of interest and local history museums nearby.
