We were lucky again that the rain stayed away on our last day in Italy for our tour of Ostia Antica (Ancient Ostia). It is an ancient Roman city that in ancient times was the port of Rome located at the mouth of the River Tiber.

A snippet of the wind and rough water as we were boarding our boat to return to Mestre. We all made it onboard safe and sound.

Before we started driving to the airport, Steini made sure that Ruth was properly serenaded for her birthday!

Eruptions of the Strokkur geyser take place every 6-10 minutes. We stayed for several eruptions so that those who wanted could get both video and still photos.

Steini, our bus driver, was more than happy to bring out his guitar and sing Happy Birthday to Becky this morning!

The manager of the French Museum and Steini treated us to a traditional Icelandic folk song about a farmer and a raven in the chapel at the French Museum.
