Little River Railroad & Lumber Company Museum will be having a kids day outdoor event on June 26th from 10 a.m. to noon. The outdoor model railroad will be running and there will be other activities for the kids to enjoy. Check out the museum while you are there too!! Children must have an adult present with them.

Sounds like a fun event in Townsend!

The Townsend Area Volunteer Fire Department fireworks show is ON this year on Sunday, July 4th! The festivities will begin around 6pm(ish) beside the Highland Manor Inn & Conference Center with hot dogs 🌭 and snow cones 🍧. Face painting will be provided by CHilhowee ARea Ministries . 🎵 Live music will begin at 7:30 pm with the Jeff Jopling Band and Tate Roberts performing. The fireworks show will begin at dark-thirty so bring your lawn chairs and celebrate with us!!

Vehicle-Free Wednesdays in Cades Cove begin TODAY, May 5th, and will go through September 1st. Remember to park in designated areas only and bring everything you will need for a day of hiking or walking the loop (cell phones will not work if you forget something!).
