Another fun thing to do while visiting the Birds Eye Villa! Nelder Grove is about 9 miles from the house. The drive is beautiful and the Giant Sequoias are spectacular! This is a must see when you visit!

The Sugar Pine railroad is a fun activity for all ages! It is located right up the road from The Birds Eye Villa, right outside the South Gate entrance to Yosemite in a small town called Fish Camp. You can journey back in time on a train ride through the forest and learn about the history of the logging industry. This is a must do when you visit!

Hello Everyone! It looks like officials finally opened glacier point road last week. If you visit our house, you have to check out glacier point. It is pretty amazing!

Yosemite National Park announces that Glacier Point Road will reopen to all vehicles at 8:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018.Glacier Point Road has been closed since July 19 due to fire activities associated with the Ferguson Fire, which began on July 13. Firefighters have been removing hazard trees...
