Sold one of the cottages today. It’s been just over 20 years that we have rented it. Good memories but now a nice family can enjoy it all the time. I won’t miss the hill in the 🥶. Still renting the beautiful stone house for another year.

Wow I was out cleaning the cottage and look at all the white geese next to the Canadian geese. Never quite saw this before. Shot this from the deck of the 4 bedroom rental house. Spring is on it’s way.

The swans stayed for a week this year. They have left replaced by the purple Martin scouts and the Canadian geese. Spring is on its way. Gorgeous views day and night.

Although it was sad to have lost our dock last year due to it being submerged for over a month. The new one looks so inviting. Thanks to all that have rented with us over the last 19 years. We appreciate your business and look forward to your return.

Just taking the time to attend to details at our 4 bedroom cottage before the busy summer rentals. Look who came by for a visit. Just listening to the water lapping on the shore and birds singing. So glad we planted so many trees so many years ago it attracts the birds and is calming. Happy Mother’s Day.

I am so happy the weather is warmer but the ships though the fog just a few days ago were mystical. I love the river and the changing scenery. Wonder if these ships will make it back home so late in the season.

Got the boats put away just in time. No matter what time of year the river is always beautiful. Wonder if this ship heading west along the St Lawrence will make it out before the river freezes over. Winter is officially here ⛄️ ❄️

We definitely like these visitors more than the Canadian geese. Thankfully the branches along the shore deterred the geese.

Took this photo down by the cottage dock last night. Love the changing weather these days. Need clothes for it being cool one minute and hot the other. Rained for a bit but cleared up right away.

First catch of the year at Riverlee. Right from the dock. For those not enjoying company when swimming just throw a piece of wood or make a loud noise and they will be nowhere to be seen. Need quiet and patience to catch these guys. Remember in Ontario you need a fishing license or you can be fine. They sell licenses at the MacEwen gas just west of the cottage. on county route 2

Record high water levels over the past few weeks other than some repairs to the dock at Twin Oaks and a tree and bench still in the water we have done well. Here is a picture at riverlee by the east edge of the property by the water. Beautiful sunrise:)

You really feel the brisk breeze today. What a gorgeous day at Riverlee. I love the dramatic change of seasons in Canada from the heat of a sunny day on the river to the bite of the cold air as we move through Fall. I am looking forward to winter and whizzing down the hill on my sled with the kids.

Fort Wellington. Must do if you have kids. Great value for families. Dress up like soldiers or find out how it would have been to live at a Fort 1800.
