Make sure to circle through the Yule Trail Signs Downtown! Honestly, it is a lot of fun to park and walk through them because you miss the small details in some of the signs when you stay in your vehicle. Take a picture with the big Santa(s) and Tag Us!

Don’t Let Luling’s Trail of Lights Go Dark!

As of today, we do not have a lot of entries for the Light Trail, which is sad because I see a lot of homes decorated this year? I have driven around and noticed so many of you have worked hard to make your homes and businesses sparkle with festive cheer, and we’d love to help showcase and celebrate those efforts!

Unfortunately, if we don’t have a few more sign up before noon tomorrow (Thursday, Dec. 19th), we will have to cancel the event.

🎃The Sweet Nostalgia of Door-to-Door Trick-or-Treating 🎃

There’s something magical about door-to-door trick-or-treating in a small town. It’s a tradition that has changed over the years, yet each Halloween night somehow brings that warm, nostalgic feeling rushing back. 👻 Who can forget the thrill of planning our costumes for weeks, counting down the days until we could finally show them off to our neighbors? There was always something so exciting about heading out at dusk, watching the sky darken, and seeing the glow of porch lights inviting us to approach each house.

🍬 We didn’t just collect candy; we connected with neighbors and friends. Stopping at familiar houses and seeing familiar faces in costumes, and the people who handed out candy often remembered you from last year or asked about school or sports.

Time seemed to slow down on Halloween night. It was the one time of year when our small town felt like it transformed into a new world, just for a few hours. We’d stretch out each trip down the street, staying out as long as we could, running from house to house with friends, filling our bags and laughing together. The night wasn’t just about candy—it was about being kids and sharing a moment of pure joy.
