We hope that you are able to close out the 2023 year with us here at Palmetto SP. Again, please keep in mind that you need to prepare and plan ahead for Dec. 15th- Dec. 18th as we will be closed to the public.

The 2023 year has been an adventure as we start another awesome century of Texas State Parks. Close out this year with some cozy classics as exciting new programs will be starting up in 2024! With our First Day Hikes to start the New Year off right!

Thank you to all of our park visitors who enjoy our little piece of the swamp lands here. We look forward to seeing everyone soon at any of our programs.

Saddle up and ride on down to Night in Old Luling tomorrow night for a good ol' western time. This year proceeds will benefit Kingdom Rescue and At the Well Christian Ministries. Some of the activities this year include: a photo contest, bingo, pie eating contest, and a petting zoo. Be sure to come hungry, there will be plenty delicious treats to enjoy!
