After booking my trip for me and my family of 6, we get to the airport 2 hours early and get to the check in counter they say the plane has been delayed, but not only was it delayed it was downsized to a smaller plane. Now I booked my tickets 6 months in advanced. So now the fun begins. They tell me there isn’t enough seats on the smaller plane for my family. So being that I booked a flight from a company that don’t care for its passengers I was put off for hours. We were flying to Jacksonville to catch a cruise the next morning, so we caught a midnight flight to Tampa and had to rent a car and drive to Jacksonville, Silver Airways hung up on me 3 times and stated that is not their issue. Umm I paid your airlines to fly to Jacksonville not Tampa at midnight then drive 5 hours to get to our destination so we can catch our boat on time. Not only did they save money by sending us to Tampa. But instead they cost me by not being able to use the hotel room I booked so we can get a good nights sleep before the cruise. Which we didn’t get to use. But we also had to rent a car at our own expense. Not the people traveling with us had the same experience when flying back. On our flight back we cancelled silver and went with delta. Don’t get the shaft like we did. Fly someone else.
