Conciair Battleground Tours Tailor-made Normandy battlefield flights over the D-Day invasion beaches and ground tours of key sites

We are now offering daily Normandy flight tours in a Piper Chieftain aeroplane and departing from Goodwood (itself a wartime airfield) in West Sussex and flying a similar route that fighters would have flown to the invasion beachheads in Normandy, before a west-to-east transit along the shores of Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches. The aircraft then lands at Carpiquet airport near Caen, Nor

mandy, from where you are transported to various locations relevant to the D-Day landings. These locations are tailored to suit your own requirements and whether you are commonwealth or US citizens. A particular favourite is a visit to the Pegasus Bridge Café Gondreé, still owned and run by Madame Arlette Gondreé who lives there with her young family during the war and was just four when they became the first French people to be liberated on June 6, 1944. The Café has since become a pilgrimage for veterans and their families. Other locations include some of the beaches themselves, defensive battery sites and cemeteries, and as mentioned vary according to your own wishes. The battleground air trips are scheduled to depart from Goodwood at 9.00hrs and arrive in France at 09.30hrs. After a full day in the region, the aircraft departs from Caen at 17.30hrs for a return to Goodwood at around 18.00hrs. A knowledgeable Normandy and D-Day tour guide accompanies each group to provide information and assistance regarding the places that you are visiting.
