Tree Top Cottage offers a fully furnished private three bedroom, first floor self catering cottage in a garden in Mtunzini. The spacious cottage sleeps eight; it has one bedroom with a double bed, the second with two single beds and the third with two single beds and one bunk bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and forms part of the open plan dining & living room. There are two bathrooms, one with

a bath and the other with a shower. The bedrooms are air conditioned and equipped with overhead fans. There is also a sundeck, thatched barbeque lapa and a splash pool. Tree Top Cottage offers further accommodation for two more guests in an en-suite wooden cottage. It has a fully equipped kitchen, overhead fan in the bedroom, private barbecue on the sundeck and DSTV. Large trees surround the cottages and the Trumpeter Hornbill, Hadidas and various other species of birds frequent the garden. Mtunzini is a small village 135 km's North of Durban and 42 km's South of Richards Bay. The beach area and lagoon forms part of the Umlalazi Nature Reserve and are approximately 1.5 km's from the cottage. There are picnic spots and a launch site for boats at the lagoon, also, a 1 km launching area for boats & Jet Ski’s on the beach. The Aerial Boardwalk in Eshowe, St Lucia and the Hluhluwe - Umfolozi Game Reserve are within easy reach from Mtunzini.
