We enjoyed a recent staycay in Parkview Hotel โค๏ธโจ๏ธ๐
The reception and bar were beautifully decorated for the festive season. Once checked in we hit the bar were there was music scheduled for later in the evening and in the meantime we relaxed with a few drinks and ordered food, the food menu was extensive and I can confirm it was delicious ๐.
The staff were also very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. It was short and sweet, but I will definitely be popping back in for food again very soon!

San Francisco ๐๐บ๐ธ
We stayed in 4* Hotel Zelos in San Francisco, the room was huge, and the beds very comfortable, there was a small gym within the hotel, it suited us perfectly (had a range of dumbells and cardio machines).
The hotel is located close to Union Square - the shopping area. There is public transport near by, or if opting for the hop on / hop off bus tours, you can catch the bus from Union Square once tickets are collected from the vendor.
We booked room only rate, as we had planned most days to be out and about from early, a couple of mornings we did have breakfast in the hotel in their Dirty Habits restaurant, the breakfast was good each time we ordered and the portions were huge! The staff were very attentive also.
We walked 40 minutes from the hotel to Fisherman's Wharf one morning. This walk took us through China Town, and it was a great way to explore the surrounding areas.
Another day, we ordered a driverless (self driving car) to bring us to the Pier, all you need to do is download the Waymo One app, imput the hotels zipcode, and pay using your Google pay.
The hotel held a $100 a night deposit on our bank card, this was held in case there was damage to the room, city taxes, resort fees, and other taxes also come out of this.
My personal rating is 8/10 for the hotel. The hotel is fantastic value for money, but it is a little far from the Pier area if this is where you want to spend most of your days, but this is easily resolved once you are happy to avail of taxis or public transport.

We took a driverless (self driving car ride) they are available in San Francisco and LA.
You need to use the app on your phone to unlock the car, once you get in, you need to press start on the screen in front of you.
The screen also shows images of people, cars etc around you. You can see in this video how it stopped at the pedestrian crossing to let people walk by... how mad is this? ๐คฏ
