Parents have a great influence on their children as the first and most significant teachers in their lives. Because parents are so important and since E.C.F.E. has always promoted early literacy in our early education program, it is our mission to team together get children ready to read. What happens at E.C.F.E? is a chance for the child and parent to play, learn, discover and enjoy each other wi
thout the distractions of home. Parent/Child Activity Time
The teacher plans, prepares and presents the activities for you. All activities are based on a literacy approach. Parent/Child Group Time
This is a time for parents and children to gather together for some floor time of finger plays, songs and stories. School/Home Activity
Parents and children have the opportunity to work together on a take home activity to share with the class. Offers
E.C.F.E. offers sessions for parents and their children grouped around the age of the child in the fall. Most classes meet once a week for one hour. In addition to weekly classes, E.C.F.E. offers the following:
- Newsletters
- Family Activities/Special Events/Field Trips
- Book and Toy Lending Library
- Learning Readiness Preschools
