Every season towards the end of the season we get asked what we do with any extra produce. The answer: we donate what we can’t use to the local food shelves. And it’s not just at the end of the season, any produce that we can’t use throughout the season gets donated. This year we have donated over 5000 pounds!

As Election Day approaches, it’s essential to stay informed and think critically about the information we encounter. Here are some tips to help navigate the flood of content:
1. Verify Sources: Before accepting any claim, ensure it cites a credible source. Not all information is reliable, and some may be intentionally misleading.
2. Assess Credibility: Evaluate the legitimacy of the cited source. Look for established, reputable organizations or experts in the field. Be cautious of sources with unclear authorship or potential biases.
3. Question Memes and Images: Memes and images can be powerful but are not always factual. Photos can be edited, and out-of-context images can mislead. Always cross-check visual content with trusted news outlets or fact-checking websites.
By applying these practices, we can all contribute to a more informed and thoughtful community. Let’s prioritize truth and accuracy in our discussions and decisions.
