ANNOUNCEMENT: All ticket holders to the Sacramento HRM Steampunk Symposium will be receiving tonight an updated schedule, a map of Old Sacramento, and detailed info on panels. As you may have seen, choices are to be made on which underground tour you want AND which High Tea you will be available for. Choices will be first come, first served. Instructions will be in the email. We will be using the email that was used for the PayPal purchase.

Are you a steampunk with too much stuff? Grabbed things that you knew looked amazing, but still have no idea what you'll ever do with it? Or even things that aren't quite amazing once you got them home! Then, bring it down to Old Sacramento for the Saturday Steampunk Junk Competition! All donations of "junk" will be put to use while 15 competitors fiercely battle to make the most amazing gee-gaw assembled from whatever is at hand.

Ladies, do you find that you have gowns for promenades that fill you with shame at how "last season" they are? Or is your armoire straining from being overtly full? Even the most famous clothes horse must occasionally cull their treasure trove for pieces that are no longer flattering. But, where to take the old dresses without anyone whispering behind their hands about the state of your steamer trunks? You could bring all discarded prom dresses to the Prom Dress Competition, held Sunday in Old Sacramento!

ANNOUNCEMENT---BAD NEWS/GOOD NEWS---The Delta King/Steampunk Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre has been cancelled on Friday Night (Oct 3). Without going into emotional detail…the price went up dramatically (no pun intended) and the quality could not be guaranteed. HOWEVER, we are replacing the Dinner Theatre with a five course Victorian High Tea. Because we are utilizing a smaller room to make this happen, the tea will be conducted on Friday and on Sunday. This will allow us to give more personal attention to our guests and ensure their comfort. We apologize for the inconvenience but rest assured you will not be disappointed. The Website will be updated shortly and we are currently also updating the schedule which can be viewed on Monday the 15th.

little ditty about the Steampunk Murder Mystery Dinner. Participants will have the choice of Steak, Chicken or Vegetarian (which is also gluten free). Meal chosen at the table, no need to pre-order. they are letting me preview the script on Monday. Can't wait to see it...
