InsidePalawan is a concept by two brothers who at a very young age and for over 20 years have vacationed and traveled around Palawan with their family. During each of our stays, we have discovered new and exciting destinations, as well as witnessed Palawan’s slow transformation from a frontier island to the World’s newest tourist hotspot. The experiences we have from Palawan are irreplaceable and

impossible to imitate, and always keep us coming back for more. It is our wish to share our love of the island by encouraging tourism and travel and by also promoting the many businesses and scenic attractions that have made Palawan into a true world wonder. We aim to help anyone who wishes to learn about, travel or even move to Palawan by providing inside knowledge that only years of travel and relationships built with local palawenos can provide. Together we can help slowly mold Palawan into a sustainable development, preserving its natural beauty (this includes its local people), while at the same time encouraging infrastructure, economic and socio development.

Palawan has been closed to tourists for over 2 years, and when they momentarily opened, the tourist still did not come because of the fear that they will get covid and for many other reasons. Tourism was the main source of income for most of Palawenos, especially on remote resorts, like Elnido. Rich In Care and Hope was able to distribute rice to struggling poor Palawenos, who have no more means of income. Restaurants, hotels, tours, etc. were closed. Even local fishermen could not afford gas for their boats to cath fish in the ocean.
