I cannot begin to thank everyone for all the amazing messages and calls today. I feel very lucky to have my family, my childhood friends and all of the incredible people that have built our amazing Cuba and Sicily tour family. I feel infinitely lucky to have a career in travel it’s the ultimate passion project. In this last year I have lived my life how I always wanted and I hope that continues! Tomorrow I go Sicily for our Cuba meets Sicily tour with Jorge Luis Pacheco! What an amazing birthday present!

Back in Sicily with a start at one of our favorite cities, Cefalu, a fishing village with so much natural life, energy, and beauty! We started our walk with a treat at Duomo square boasting some of the most incredible coffee, and sweet and savory pastries. Then we went for a stroll and found the singing door to door fruit vendor and bought some incredible watermelon, nectarines, grapes, figs and those gorgeous little pomodorini, cherry tomatoes. After that a stroll through the boardwalk to the beach and then a visit to the historical wash rooms. All in all it was a beautiful first morning in Sicily!
