This summer I had a great opportunity to work in Munich for Ultima Media who puts together some of the most influential people in the car industry to talk about all of the ins and outs of automobiles. Think TED Talk about cars and logistics of the car industry.

Although I mostly shoot a lot of portraits and other types of photography and videos, I always enjoy photographing at events like this one. The team at Ultima Media are awesome and allow me to use some of my documentary skills to capture real moments of networking. Real people authentically connecting about something they love, cars

For a California kid to get to go over and work in Munich was a great experience in itself. Great food, great people, great country. Looking forward to going back!

Portrait of Sunny Bak. Sunny Bak is a well known photographer that shot much of the imagery for the Beastie Boys in the late 80s early 90s. Love that picture she took of all 3 of the Beasties hanging out in NYC back in the day. Legendary.

Spending two weeks with the Maoris was truly unforgettable. Seeing how proud they are of their culture taught me more than I ever expected. AND, I made some friends who can surely kick my ass. Check out the videos and some Maori portraits below.

When the NZ Consulate told us they were coming, we got out the whole team. We knew they would need videos and all kinds of photography. We even used a drone! This was a big event that should be celebrated and documented. Spending two weeks with the Maoris was truly unforgettable.
