Alden Leavitt Equestrian

Alden Leavitt is USEF, USEA, USHJA, and FEI accredited rider. She has successfully competed against internationally ranked riders at the CCI 3 star level.

Some of her biggest accomplishments include 2012 NAJYRC Bronze Medalist. Alden began her riding career at the young age of 4 when her mom bought her first pony Holly. By the age of 6 she was jumping and competing at local shows. She quickly progressed to competing in nationally and internationally ranked shows across the United States. At the age of 14 Alden was competing at the Preliminary level

in eventing when she and her mom moved to Ocala, Florida to train with Canadian Olympian, Kyle Carter. During her time in Florida, Alden completed multiple international events and quickly became a top internationally ranked Young Rider. In 2012 Alden and her horse, Castlefarm Snooze Cruise, represented Area III at the North American Junior Young Rider Championships coming home with a bronze medal. In the following months Alden moved up to Intermediate and completed many CIC** and CCI** (CCI***- L) to qualify for the 2013 North American Junior Young Rider Championships. She finished the year of 2013 ranked 257 in the World. She has trained with top eventing, show jumping, and dressage riders such as dressage Hall of Fame, Linda Zang; 2004 Olympic gold medalist, Leslie Law; 2010 World Equestrian Games silver medalist, Kyle Carter; 2008 Olympic silver medalist, Clayton Fredericks; Internationally Ranked Dressage Grand Prix competitor, Hokan Thorn; and is currently under instruction of Scott Keach, Austrian Olympic Eventer and Olympic Show Jumper. As well as being an internationally successful rider, Alden has worked for a world class sales barn and traveled to Canada and Ireland to further her education. In the summer of 2013 Alden had the amazing opportunity to work for Richard Sheane's Cooley Sport Horses in Glenealy, Ireland. During this time Alden shadowed Richard in sales and learned his expert training methods. She also rode and worked at the stable helping maintain and care for the horses. Alden has used all these experiences to pursue and master her passion of producing top horses. She now runs an international sales program located in Tryon, NC. She specializes in sourcing and producing young sport horses and finding their perfect homes.

Hello, Horse Friends!
I’m excited to share that I have openings for lessons, training rides, and all things equestrian during the week and on weekends! I’m located in Greenville, SC and open to commute to Tryon, Landrum, Anderson, Clemson, and more.
With a solid background in starting young horses and developing FEI-level competitors in both Eventing and Show Jumping, I take an individualized and patient approach to training. I’ve competed up to the FEI 3-star level and 1.30m in show jumping, and I also have experience in hunters. I believe in building a strong bond and mutual respect from the ground up.
If you’re looking for a fresh perspective, want to advance your riding journey, or are facing a challenge you can’t quite overcome, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to work with you!

Saying goodbye to Little Orchard and Tryon this week brought a wave of emotions and reflections. Over the past four years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to cherish beautiful memories, ride some amazing horses, and be inspired by outstanding people. It’s been a journey of self discovery where I’ve learned invaluable lessons.

I’m immensely grateful to everyone who has supported and encouraged me throughout this chapter. Horse back riding is a demanding sport and I could not have achieved what I did without each of you who made it possible.

I will forever carry with me the lessons, memories, and friendships I have made over the years. Here’s to embracing the future with gratitude and excitement. Cheers to the next chapter! 🐎✨

The best thing about riding is the people you meet and the challenges you overcome. I had a wonderful month in Ocala overcoming many obstacles and growing as rider. There’s so many ups and downs with this sport, but when you have the right guidance what you thought was impossible seems to come at ease. Thank you for all your help and support. It’s been a busy winter at ALE but all the hard work is paying off!! Domino is a phenomenal hunter, dressage, or eventing prospect that is suitable for a adult amateur, young rider, or professional. He has 3 wonderful gaits and carries himself in a natural uphill frame. He has a quiet, sweet, and loving disposition which has made him a barn favorite! He is great on trails and good with beginners. He crosses water, ditches, and has been XC schooling. He has just begun jumping and jumps anything you point him at. This past month has been life changing! So much has happened, not just with the horses, but personal growth. I’m so excited to announce I’m going to focus more on show jumping and developing a stronger base. I’m so lucky to have a team behind me that supports and trusts me. Trust is so important in this sport and I’m so thankful for my clients and owners who let me follow my dreams everyday! 🦄 At @stableviewaiken ‘s October Fest the 5 year olds jumped double clean in XC and Show Jumping in their second BN!! Jaxx completed the CCI2star with one rail and a clean XC. 🦄 Scott Keach came to Little Orchard for a couple weeks!! I was able to take lessons and absorb everything he had to teach me. I’m so grateful for this new partnership and can’t wait to get into the SJ rings! It’s been a fantastic last week at #ALE !!! ☀️ Jaxx won the training level at Stableview from start to finish, ending on his dressage score! This was his first event since 2019 and I couldn’t have been happier! 🤩 ☀️ Quoddy and Criss Cross completed their first show and were superstars! Quoddy jumped fantastic and won the dressage on a 29! Criss Cross was so brave and jumped like a pro in his 2’3 SJ round ending double clean. ☀️ Herzblatt sold to a wonderful home in Hilton Head Island where he will become a top hunter.
