For those of you planning to visit Kerry soon there are some road closures as follows:

"The N71 Kenmare/ Killarney Rd is closed for works between Molls Gap and Carhoomeengar West from Mon 16th Jan until Thurs 16th Mar. Diversions are in place via Molls Gap and Sneem (R568 and N70) for southbound traffic and Kenmare and Kilgarvan (R569 and N22) or Sneem (N70 and R568) for northbound traffic. "

If you are planning to travel the Ring of Kerry during these dates you will still be able to get around via the diversions that will be in place.

You can get up to date details nearer to the time from the AA Roadwatch website at http://www.theaa.ie/roadwatch/newsroom/

There will be a preview opening of the gardens at Killarney House and Gardens in the heart of Killarney on April 3rd.
Here are images from a brochure with map that will distributed around Killarney in the coming days and on the day of the preview opening.
It will be a great day out with music, falconcry, history talks and children's Easter Bonnet parade and scavenger hunt.
The house is expected to open later in the year and will house exhibitions centered on the history and ecology of the National Park.

Don't miss a really lovely family day out on Sunday April 3rd at the Preview Opening of the Gardens at Killarney House and Gardens, referred to by locals as 'The Golden Gates', right in the centre of Killarney Town. It is a beautiful amenity for visitors and locals and will grow in importance as the gardens mature and when the house opens as a visitor and exhibition centre later in the year..

Cottage - Waterville

Went for a drive last Monday with one of my friends and got completely lost. Ended up back in Waterville somehow!
Came across Reenroe Hotel and went for a wander around the place. Probably the freakiest places I have ever been to. For anyone that doesn't know, its an abandoned Hotel back in Waterville. I will post some photos of it shortly or may even do a post on it as I took loads of photos.
But for now heres a photo of a cottage at the back of the hotel which was just as freaky. Its pretty much the frame of a house with no front door, Smashed Windows and a broken Fridge Freezer which was just inside the door. 😂😂😂
