Ramadan Umrah
Over 20 years ago, our late father, took us on our first trip to Makkah and Madinah in Ramadan. It was an annual trip that he had made for years and a tradition that he shared with us. After his passing in 2004, we have been blessed to continue this tradition.
Regardless of what’s going on in our personal lives and work, when Ramadan starts, we feel a calling and a yearning for this spiritual journey. From braking fast in the Haram, to praying in the Rawdah, to embracing the Holy Kabba, to hearing the beautiful Quran recitation in Taraweeh, there is just nothing else like it or a better time of year to be there. Remarkably, Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to performing Hajj with the beloved Prophet PBUH. What more can one ask for?
Throughout the years, we have seen that many people think that it is difficult or impossible to go on such a trip, especially for those in their 20’s and 30’s, thinking that it’s not accessible or practical or that they should go when they are older. They ask us, how do you do it?
We couldn’t disagree more. Makkah and Madinah are accessible and is for you. It’s for everyone that has a sincere intention.
