Hey y'all, everyone take just a minute to congratulate the 2022-2023 Yadkin Mastercatters Points Champions, Team Cat Baby, Mac Moneta and Bill Flathead Sutton. Their 1st place finish earned them a YMC record payout of $2,775, plus a pair of custom trophies from our good friends over at MRK Creative Designs🏆🏆
Team Cheap Hookers, Justin McCall, Charlie McCall and Lee Hill came in 2nd place, taking home $1070.00, with a very consistent effort all year💪
Team Paper Hangers, Graham and Hunter Huneycutt, rounded out the Top 3 in this year’s points race, and took home $425.00👍

The 8th and final tournament of the 2022-2023 Yadkin Mastercatters Season was held Saturday night, April 15th at High Rock Lake. We had a GREAT spring night for catfishing, with lots of sunshine to get things started and a nice clear evening. With mild temps in the upper 50’s overnight, and little to no wind to speak of, it was nearly perfect conditions. Water temps are creeping back up towards the 70-degree mark.
We had a GREAT turnout of 42 boats that came out to fish this one, we would like to say THANK YOU ALL!!
30 of 42 boats weighed in fish, talk at the scales was that the bite was on for some team as soon as their baits hit the water, some teams caught quite a few fish, while others struggled to put any fish in the boat, as always, we saw some TROPHY cats at the scales.
Team Catfishing Leprechaun weighed in the first place 3 fish stringer, with 87.39 pounds total weight, with the big fish of the tournament, a MONSTER 52.26-pound flathead, earning them $1675.00, plus $840.00 big fish payout=$2515.00, plus a custom trophy from Tub’z Metal Works🥇💰🏆
Team Wicked Cats finished in 2nd Place with 76.94 pounds total weight, with a 32.17-pound big fish, earning them $765.00 plus $100 2nd big fish payout(Thanks to Little Wag’s Shed Haulers)=$865.00🥈💵
Team Nuts & Bolts was 3rd place with 75.36 pounds total weight, with a 30.49-pound big fish, earning them $265.00.🥉
Team Paper Hangers came in 4th place with 72.31 pounds total weight, with a 24.11-pound big fish earning them $150.00.
Team Cheap Hookers rounded out the top 5 with 69.85 pounds total weight, with a 30.63-pound big fish, earning them $90.00.

Wrapped up the 2022-2023 Yadkin Mastercatters Tournament Season at High Rock Lake last night! Had another AWESOME turnout, big thanks to all teams for coming out to fish this weekend🎣👊
We had great fishing weather for a night on the water and saw a few trophy fish at the scales🐋

While at High Rock this evening, we had internet/wi-fi problems. We recorded the drawing for Fish Bite Rod Holders, LLC to pay for a team’s entry fee. The winner of the drawing was Team Trollin Thunder!!
While at sign-in, Jamie K Outdoors donated $100 for the 1st team out of the money (6th place) and Team iFart donated $100 to the team that brings the smallest catfish to the scales.

Entry Fee is $120.00 per team; $70.00-Winner’s Payout, $20.00-Big fish, $10.00 Points Championship Fund, $5.00-Big Fish of the Year, $10.00-Mastercatters, AND $5.00-YMC Admin Fee. Tournament hours are 7:00PM-8:00AM. Registration/Sign-ups will run from 5:30PM-6:30PM.
We will be going live, tomorrow, Thursday at 12:00pm(Noon), to chat about the tourney, end-of-year awards, and some extra giveaway goodies👍👍

The 7th tournament of the 2022-2023 Yadkin Mastercatters Season was held Saturday, March 11th at Badin Lake. We had some typical Badin tournament weather today! It was a cold morning, with temps right around 40 degrees, that warmed up in to the upper-50s, with partly cloudy skies…the wind was brutal most of the day, blowing out of North/Northwest 10-15 mph, with gust up to about 20 mph, making for tough conditions. Water temps are between 55-60 degrees🎣🌤️💨
We have been consistent on our turnout with 36 boats that came out to fish this one, we would like to say THANK YOU ALL!!
27 of 36 boats weighed in fish, talk at the scales was that the bite was hit-or-miss…some teams caught quite a few fish, while others struggled to put any fish in the boat, as always, we saw some TROPHY cats at the scales.
Team Hookin’ Ain’t Easy weighed in the first place 2 fish stringer, with 70.35 pounds total weight, with a 36.47-pound big fish, earning them $1440.00, plus $100 2nd big fish payout(Thanks to Little Wag’s Shed Haulers)=$1540.00🥇💰
Team Bottom Line finished in 2nd Place with 58.52 pounds total weight, with the big fish of the tournament, a 37.95-pound blue cat, earning them $660.00, plus $720.00 big fish payout=$1380.00, plus a custom trophy from Tub’z Metal Works🥈🏆
Team On ‘Em was 3rd place with 52.65 pounds total weight, with a 33.48-pound big fish, earning them $220.00🥉
Team Beast Mode came in 4th place with 47.46 pounds total weight, with a 24.68-pound big fish, earning them $120.00.
Team FatLunker rounded out the top 5 with 46.99 pounds total weight, with a 30.93-pound big fish, earning them $90.00.

Here we go!! We are less than 24 hours away from the 7th tournament of the 2022-2023 Yadkin Mastercatters Season🎣🎣
Saturday, March 11th, at Badin Lake, Alcoa Boat Ramp, 293 NC-740, Badin, NC 28009. Entry Fee is $120.00 per team; $70.00-Winner’s Payout, $20.00-Big fish, $10.00 Points Championship Fund, $5.00-Big Fish of the Year, $10.00-Mastercatters, AND $5.00-YMC Admin Fee. Registration/Sign-ups will run from 5:00am-6:00am.
We will go be going live, tonight, shortly after 8:00pm to chat about the tourney, and spin the prize wheel for all the teams that are pre-registered👍
A couple reminders...
-Everyone take a minute to go over and 'Pre-Register' on the ACA website, as we will be using the Tournament Management Software and need ALL Members and Non-Members to be registered. We will be doing another drawing for a CASH PRIZE💵💵for each team that is 'pre-registered' before 8:00pm TONIGHT, March 10th. Team must be present at tournament to claim prize.

-PLEASE BE SURE TO REVIEW THE UPDATED RULES AND REGULATIONS, ESPECIALLY LAUNCH PROCEDURE!!
-Tournament hours are 6:30AM-3:30PM. Sign-ups will begin AT 5:00AM and end AT 6:00AM. Anglers may board boat and begin traveling to first spot at 5:00AM. Lines in at 6:30AM, Lines out at 3:30PM. All teams must be back at the weigh-in site 30 minutes after tournament end time-NO EXCEPTIONS.
-For those that are able, please print out and complete the 'Release of Liability' Form and have it ready with your entry fee(we will have plenty of copies at the sign-up table Saturday morning):

While at High Rock this evening, we had internet/wi-fi problems. We recorded the drawing for Fish Bite Rod Holders, LLC to pay for a team’s entry fee. The winner of the drawing was Team Trollin Thunder!! While at sign-in, Jamie K Outdoors donated $100 for the 1st team out of the money (6th place) and Team iFart donated $100 to the team that brings the smallest catfish to the scales.
