Logistically speaking I was expecting several issues either with flights, cruise cabins, excursions, or any other of the details involved. Everything went as expected. I didn't even have one problem for all 9 on the entirety of the trip!! Harley did a great job despite all the questions I had for her right down to tipping of the ships' staff. No one on my trip had any valid complaints.”

Itinerary
Day 1: Naples to Sorrento - Upon arrival at Naples airport, meet your private transfer for a scenic drive along the coast, the perfect introduction to your adventure in Southern Italy. Check in to your hotel for a three-night stay and start exploring.

Day 2: Capri and the Blue Grotto - Set sail for Capri, a scenic island off the coast of Naples, known for its stunning beauty, luxurious atmosphere, and impressive cliffs. After exploring the island, experience the Blue Grotto, a sea cave on the island's coast, famous for its intense blue light, caused by the sun shining through an underwater opening.

Day 3: Sorrento - Enjoy a full day on the Amalfi Coast, starting with a private limoncello demonstration and tasting. The region is known for its abundance of citrus trees and the lemon groves are the perfect backdrop for sampling this local delicacy. Afterward, enjoy a refreshing drink on the beachfront and watch the world go by. Or stroll along to the Piazza Tasso for lunch in a quiet café and wonderful views over the water. Don't miss a visit to the Chiesa di San Francesco, a beautiful 14th-century church.

Day 4: Sorrento to Taormina Via Naples - After breakfast this morning your driver will pick you up at your Sorrento hotel, bringing you to Naples Centrale station to catch your train to Sicily. Admire the scenery of southern Italy from the comfort of your seat, and once at the Straits of Messina, the train boards a boat to take you from mainland Italy to Sicily. The train then continues along the coast to the famous resort town of Taormina. On arrival, check-in at your hotel for a two-night stay. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty such as the impressive Mount Etna and sweeping bays alongside the Mediterranean Sea, Taormina is a picture-perfect destination.

Day 5: Taormina - Today a fabulous experience awaits as you meet your regional expert chef and take a stroll over to a local market. Learn about the abundant ingredients in Sicilian cuisine, as the chef picks out the products for today’s class. Head over to a local restaurant, put on your apron, and begin the preparation of a complete Sicilian menu. Taste the fruits of your labor, along with sampling Italian wine.

Day 6: Taormina to Catania - Catania is only a short train ride away and upon arrival check-in for a two-night stay. Set off to explore the city, and why not visit the ancient Roman Rotonda, the beautiful Palazzo Conte Federico, or the busy Pescheria food market? Be sure to try some tasty street food!

Day 7: Catania - Today is yours to explore the Sicilian charm of Catania. Full of beautiful monuments and quaint streets, there’s no shortage of experiences to discover.

Day 8: Catania - This morning, embark on a half-day trip to remember, as you climb the ancient slopes of Mount Etna on a private four-wheel drive jeep. Learn the mythological legend of Zeus’ thunderbolt and enjoy dramatic views as you near the top. Stop at a small village to taste some local honey and almond cookies, then don a helmet and torch as you explore a cave dug by the flowing lava, then it’s an easy hike to the edge of a side crater or on a lava flow before returning to Catania via an off-road track.

Day 9: Journey Ends in Catania - A driver will collect you from your hotel for the short drive to Catania airport.

09/22: Dublin: Arrive in Dublin and transfer to the hotel for check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Take a stroll along the banks of the River Liffey to admire the city's diverse architecture or head straight to the vibrant Temple Bar area to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of Dublin's best pubs and eateries. Several venues in the area hold regular live music performances so be sure to catch one of these for an unforgettable start to your journey through Ireland. Overnight stay in Dublin.

09/23: Dublin - Kilkenny - County of Cork: Breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on a panoramic walking tour of Dublin where you will get to stop by the city’s most emblematic sites. Pass by the famous Trinity College and continue to the Temple Bar area, the cultural center of Dublin, and home to colorful pubs that host live Irish music and dance performances. Learn the legend of the Ha’Penny Bridge over the River Liffey and stroll past O'Connell Bridge an 18th-century bridge with the curious characteristic of being wider than longer. Following this, you will depart towards the southwest and pass by the charming town of Kilkenny, known as the Marble City because of its distinctive black marble and well-maintained, medieval buildings. Upon arriving in Kilkenny, take part in a walking panoramic tour to familiarize yourself with the most emblematic sites the city has to offer. Continue your journey until you reach the County of Cork where you will check in to your hotel and stay overnight.

09/24: County of Cork - Cork - Blarney Castle - County of Cork: Breakfast at the hotel. Today continues south towards the town of Cobh, located on an island in Cork city’s harbor, known primarily as the famous Titanic’s last port of call in 1912. From here, make your way to the city of Cork, the second-largest city in the Republic of Ireland and the third-largest city on the island of Ireland. Cork City is known as the culinary capital of the country, famed for its fantastic food market. You will have some time to wander around the city and grab some lunch before heading to your last stop of the day, Blarney Castle. This iconic monument was built nearly six hundred years ago. It is also known as one of Ireland’s greatest treasures with thousands visiting the castle each year. Overnight stay in the County of Cork.

09/25: County of Cork – Limerick - Cliffs of Moher - Galway: Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from the County of Cork and transfer to the west of the island. En route, stop by Limerick, located right by the beautiful River Shannon, known for its rich history from its foundations as a crucial Viking settlement to the grand Georgian era of the 18th century. From here, continue towards the impressive Cliffs of Moher known as a hotspot for a wide range of flora and fauna with as many as 20 different species of birds to be seen. The cliffs have been featured in many movies including Harry Potter, the Princess Bride, Leap Year, and many more. Overnight stay in the Galway area.

09/26: Galway – Athlone - Dublin: Breakfast at the hotel. Start your day with a walking tour of Galway, a balmy and bohemian city perfectly encapsulating the spirit of Ireland’s west coast. Get to know its most emblematic sites and stop by traditional old pubs and shops selling Claddagh rings, Aran sweaters, and bog-oak carvings. From here, make your way back to the capital city. En route, stop by Athlone, located right in the center of Ireland and built on the banks of the mighty River Shannon. Athlone is known for its rich cultural background from the 12th-century castle to the 17th-century barracks and the 19th-century workhouse, a remnant from Famine-era Ireland. After some free time to wander the city and grab lunch, continue your journey to Dublin. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and overnight stay in Dublin.

09/27: Dublin: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the entirety of the day at your leisure. Take this opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Dublin one last time before departure. Recommend attractions include the fascinating Irish Emigration Museum, or the Guinness Storehouse, a brewery experience telling the tale of Ireland's famous beer, with tastings and a rooftop bar. Overnight stay in Dublin
