昨年は米国内を随分と旅行しましたが、その中でもコロラド州を訪問して乗ったデュランゴ・シルバートン狭軌鉄道は昔から是非乗ってみたいと思っていた鉄道の１つで叶った夢の１つでもありました。この鉄道は１９世紀末から営業を始め、今も尚,昔ながらに蒸気機関車を大切にして走り続けている会社で, 全米で営業を継続している最古の会社です。コロラド州はこの鉄道に限らず標高４０００メートルの頂上まで登るパイクスピーク・コグレールや、数百メートルの峡谷を走るロイヤル・ゴージなどなど鉄道ファンにとっては垂涎の的となってます。是非その一シーンを楽しんでください。 Hi folks, One of my best trips I made last year was to journey around the state of Colorado, where railroad fans are fanatic about riding some of them, best of which is Durango - Silverton Narrow Gage Railroad. Enjoy one of the best scenes along the line!
