🐢 During our whale watching tours in Tenerife, we often encounter other animals that aren’t cetaceans, and the most common among them is the loggerhead turtle.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They prefer warm or temperate waters, although they are capable of undertaking very long migrations.⁣⁣
⁣
In fact, the turtles we see during our tours were born in Florida and are guided by ocean currents to our waters when they are hatchlings.⁣⁣
Here, they feed and grow until they eventually return to the same beach where they were born, where the females will lay their eggs.⁣⁣

🐢Durante nuestro tours para ver cetáceos en Tenerife también nos encontramos con otros animales que no lo sin, y entre ellos el más común es la tortuga boba.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Les gusta estar en aguas cálidas o templadas, aunque son capaces de realizar migraciones muy largas. ⁣⁣
De hecho, las tortugas que vemos durante nuestros tours nacieron en Florida y vienen hasta nuestras aguas guiadas por las corrientes cuando son crías. ⁣⁣
Aquí se alimentan y crecen hasta que vuelven a la misma playa donde nacieron, donde las hembras podrán desovar.⁣⁣
