RAMA MEADOWS, ASTORE, GILGIT

Astore is the main city of Astore District in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The city is situated at an altitude of 2,546 metres. The major Astore–Burzul Road, which linked Gilgit to Srinagar was indefinitely closed in 1978 following the development of the China–Pakistan Karakoram Highway.

Rama Meadows is Located 11 kilometers from Astore valley, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. Jeeps can take you to Rama meadows from Rama village. Locals of Rama village are very simple and generous. Women are busy working in potato fields while children enjoy and play happily. The atmosphere at Rama meadows is so peaceful and scented.

You can also travel from ASTORE to RAMA by your own transport but the route is difficult for our own cars specially the people travel from Punjab or the KPK lower areas. There are some bumps in the track which can create problems for your vehicle.

Karachi Ki Sair

This is my tour to Karachi I have started my journey from Sargodha on 26th December 2023 to Faisalabad on a local bus service. I reached Faisalabad in 2 and half hours because of rush at Faisalabad. Then I reach at Faisalabad Junction at 04:45pm and then I came to know that the Karakoram Express is late and still not started its journey from Lahore because Karakoram Express starts travel from Lahore and stop at Karachi. After the 2 and half hour wait at last Karakoram Express announced to be reached and I go the Platform No. 1 and then get inside the Bus No 5. I travelled without berth because I bought ticket on urgent basis so no berth availability was there at that time. I enjoyed my journey through out the way and reached next day means on 27th December 2023 at round 3 pm at Karachi. I go to the Kashif Centre located at Shahrah e Faisal for my personal tasks and after that I went to the Mazar e Qaid e Azam Rehma Ullah but when I reached there unfortunately came to know that Mazar is not opened and it is for last 4 years. But I stay there for almost an hour visit all other places. Pay tribute to Qaid in my own style and words, salute to the leader and moved to the next place. Then I left for Clifton Beech "SAAHIL E SAMANDAR" by Red Bus R-10. This R-10 is the route bus for Seaview Karachi from Mazar e Qaid and it cost Rs.50/- from one place to another. I enjoyed at Seaview for almost 2 hours then moved back to the station and bought ticket for my return journey from Drig Road Railway Station but this time I bought ticket of Millat Express and again seat was without berth. 29th December 2023 almost 3 hours before my departure I received SMS from Railway department that Millat Express is late for 3 hours almost. So I left for journey late and even then train was last for another one hour. At last train started journey at 9:00pm instead of 4:45pm and after 27 hours of travel I reached Sargodha at 11:00pm. This is how I travel from Sargodha to Karachi.
