Beartooth Highway has been called "the most beautiful drive in America".

Don't miss your chance to see this beautiful site. Only a few spots left for our 2024 Wyoming Tour. We are the only touring company that takes your bike along for the ride.

The 68 mile stretch of Highway 212 offers breathtaking views of Absaroka and the Beartooth Mountains. While traveling through both Montana and Wyoming the highway summits at Beartooth Pass, an amazing 10,947 feet above sea level. And if that is not enough, there are sheer dropoffs along the entire route along with enough hairpin turns to make any motorcyclist grin from ear to ear.

Like most of us, you’ve probably dreamed about riding your own bike while exploring new and exciting places, but time and distance have prevented you from doing so. Well, no longer! Let Ride America Tours make your dreams come true. Don’t spend most of your time getting there when you can spend all of your time being there.

Old Faithful - Don't miss your chance to see this beautiful site. Only a few spots left for our 2024 Wyoming Tour. We are the only touring company that takes your bike along for the ride.

Day 3 of our Wyoming Tour takes us into Yellowstone Park where we visit Old Faithful. Named in 1870 during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition, Old Faithful was the first geyser in the park to be named.

While Old Faithful is not the tallest or largest geyser in the park; those titles belong to the less predictable Steamboat Geyser, it is the most famous. With more than 1,000,000 eruptions since being discovered, it remains very predictable erupting every 44 minutes to two hours since the year 2000. Eruptions can shoot 3,700 to 8,400 gallons of boiling water to a height of 106 to 185 feet lasting from 11⁄2 to 5 minutes.

Little known fact - in the early days of the park, Old Faithful was often used as a laundry. Garments placed in the crater are ejected and thoroughly washed when the eruption takes place. Gen. Sheridan's men, in 1882, found that linen and cotton fabrics were uninjured by the action of the water, but woolen clothes were torn to shreds.

Come with us to Wyoming and experience all it has to offer.

Teton National Park

Like most of us, you’ve probably dreamed about riding your own bike while exploring new and exciting places, but time and distance have prevented you from doing so. Well, no longer! Let Ride America Tours make your dreams come true. Don’t spend most of your time getting there when you can spend all of your time being there.

Located in the northwest corner of Wyoming and only a few miles from Yellowstone, Teton National Park has it all.

The Teton Mountain Range is 40 miles long, contains 12 peaks over 12,000 feet in elevation, has seven lakes at the base of the range, and has more animals than you can count. Some really big ones too (Grizzly Bears, Moose, Elk, Deer & Bison).

The park encompasses roughly 300,000 acres of some of the most beautiful scenery in the western United States. And with nearly 100 miles of paved roads in the park, this is motorcycle riding heaven.

Three Generations

It all started in 1999, when Gerald Carver purchased his first motorcycle. It was a brand new 1999 Road King. It didn’t really matter to Gerald that he had never ridden a motorcycle. All he knew, is that it had always been a lifelong dream and he was determined to make it happen. The purchase of that Road King started him on a journey that would infect two more generations with the desire to ride.

Gerald spent his whole career in the Industrial Gas Industry and retired in 2009. For the past 20 years Gerald and his wife of 55 + years, Dell, rode all over the United States and Canada. In fact, there not many places in the U.S. they have not been. It is the trips that Gerald and Dell have taken over the past twenty years that were the inspiration for Ride America. As they both look back over the latter part of their lives, it is the time on the bike that has created some of their best memories. It would not be long before Gerald’s oldest grandson, Chris Carver, began riding at the ripe old age of 17. Now 27, Chris has a passion for riding that has led him to obtain his Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Coach Certification. Chris loves to ride and is the company’s Chief Tour Guide.

About five years ago, Richard Carver, Gerald’s youngest son and Chris’ father, started riding. Richard was 45 years old when he went on his first motorcycle ride, and you guessed it, that same 1999 Road King was there for the maiden voyage. Ever since that first ride, Richard has been hooked on riding. When he is not working or being dad to his six children, you will find him on the open roads making memories. We are Ride America, three generations that all have a passion for riding and for making memories. Let us help you make memories that will last a lifetime.
