Take a walk under one of the most popular waterfalls in our area, Dry Falls. This 60’ waterfall got it’s ironic name due to the fact that during normal water flow, you can stand under areas of the falls and remain relatively dry.

Dry Falls is located in the Cullasaja River Gorge on Hwy 64 East heading towards Highlands, NC.

For nearly three decades the Town of Franklin, NC has hosted this FREE event at the Gazebo on the Square in Downtown Franklin from May through mid-October. This year's Pickin' on the Square will be held every other Saturday from May 14 to October 15 at the Gazebo on the Square in Downtown Franklin.

Pickin' on the Square begins at 6:00 p.m. (weather permitting) and features live musical entertainment each week. From bluegrass to country and oldies to gospel, bring your lawn chair for a great evening of family entertainment during Pickin' on the Square.

Come early and enjoy one of our great restaurants. Food vendors also available.
