Here's something from the stash (but NFS)....a RF prototype from 1998 that was going to be a resin variant but fell through the cracks...I hit it with fluorescent red to see what might look good in coloured resin and maybe even vinyl!

Here's my Motley Crue story: As a young skatepunk artist (okay, not so young) I took many freelance gigs, Rock N Roll Comics included. I jumped in as an inker and couldn't help but do my version of the splash page, and got as far as re-drawing Nikki Sixx before the deadline. Everything else was penciled by Canadian artist L. Nadolsky, I think....I put hours into the lineart (splash page and circled in red) because I thought this was an official project (wrong, dork!) but learned after several issues that the publisher was doing unlicensed stuff. Adios to Revolutionary Comics. Later on, I read in the Comic Buyers Guide that the publisher was found murdered in LA. I do remember him calling me a "dipsh*t from Texas" because I bailed during a Rolling Stones issue...in any case, I tried . xoxo, Johnny Ace (little did I know my future wife Kali V was reading these comics years before we met. Scratching around with this pencil rough for a future tattoo & full-colour illustration (soon to retire client)...The ambulance is a phantom body, done in our usual style w/ usual expertise🤣...The only character ref we have to go on is the fella "looks like Scott Ian from Anthrax-without the goat".
