I have had this Mickey Mouse hand spoon rest on every stove I have had since I got married. (Does that surprise you?)

The other day Lydia asked me what it was. I told her it was a spoon rest for while I’m cooking.

Today, she told me that these spoons were tired and needed to rest. Then proceeded to place them here.

I love how the minds of little kids work when they are trying to figure out their world.

🌐 SPACESHIP EARTH LOUNGE will finally open in late Spring 2025

🧜‍♀️ A completely reimagined Mermaid show comes to Hollywood Studios as THE LITTLE MERMAID-A MUSICAL ADVENTURE (re) debuts in Summer 2025 with all-new sets, a vibrant cast of puppets, live performers, and stunning visuals.

✨ DISNEY STARLIGHT: DREAM THE NIGHT AWAY is the official name of the all new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025.

😈 VILLAINS: UNFAIRLY EVER AFTER, a new stage show, will make it’s wicked debut in Summer 2025 in Hollywood Studios

🚙 TEST TRACK is slated to reopen late summer 2025. Completely refurbished with an homage to the original World of Motion

🏴‍☠️ PIRATES LOUNGE in Magic Kingdom will open in late 2025

🌳 ZOOTOPIA: BETTER ZOOGETHER is the new show taking over the Tree of Life Theater in Winter 2025 (replacing Its Tough to Be a Bug)

🦕 DINOSAUR in Animal Kingdom will remain open through 2025, closing in early 2026 to make way for the new Tropical America land.

As a reminder, Animal Kingdom’s Triceratops Spin closes permanently in early January, and Magic Kingdom’s Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island will permanently close some time in 2025. Big Thunder Mountain will close in January 2025 for a refurbishment expected to last until 2026.
