Mustard Seed Walks Mustard Seed Walks offers guided walks in Britain's hill country, but primarily Dartmoor and The Lake District, enjoying the beauty of God's creation.

Mustard Seed Walks is initially intended to take small church groups on walks in The Lake District and Dartmoor, the two areas where I am based. However, I would be happy to take groups not associated with churches. I am a qualified British Mountaineering Council (BMC) Mountain Leader (Summer) - ML(S), with a number of years experience in taking groups from teenagers and adults into Britain's mountain country. Walks will be tailored to individuals to ensure that everybody enjoys the experience.

Tracks and roads will then take us past Huccaby Church to the village of Hexworthy. A short walk will then take us to our second set of stepping stones before we arrive at the large sweep of stepping stones over the West Dart Riven. A pleasant stroll will take us back to the road and the car park. Please note that if we have had heavy rain I will change the route as the striping stones may be submerged! I have put this as a non-dog friendly walk due to the stepping stones.

- 1st September - Rivers and Ridges
START: Badgers Holt car park (parking charge to pay) (GR SX672733) - on the B3357 Poundsgate to Two Bridges road - large popular car park on the right (north of the road).
TIMINGS: We will start walking at 1pm. This walk should take 3-4 hours.
DISTANCE: Approximately 5.5 miles.
OVERVIEW: Parking at the large pay and display car park at Dartmeet (SX672733), we will proceed up river on an increasingly pleasant path until we meet the small road that will take us up the the tiny village of Cherwell. A path offering great views the northern moors will take us to the norther end of Corndon Down ridge. We will then walk south along the ridge until we reach the rocky outcrop of Corndon Tor. We will then proceed downhill past the memorial cross and coffin stone back to Badger’s Holt. Dogs are welcome on a short lead.
