Cast iron. A great thing to pick no matter what the shape of the price is right. They can generally be refurbished to working order, even if they look like this. These were half buried in the ground inside an old barn. Watch for the old stuff there is worth there.

City wide garage sales last weekend. Those are always tough to pick. A lot of kids clothes etc. We always find it better to find the sales not directly in town. That's where you tend to find the good stuff. Like this estate sale liquidating things from parents who were auctioneers. Plus we found these great vintage chairs at a friends sale. Those are going in our collection ;)

Ok. Ok. I know we've been away to long. The winter season is over. IT'S PICKING SEASON in the Midwest! Expect lots of fun things on this page folks as we are going full swing tomorrow. Absolutely love this post card. I wonder what road in Chisago City this is. It leads to a lake and would be near town I would assume. I wish I could stand there and experience the way it was.

Vintage door k***s. Very sought after. We put these up for sale last night. They even have the original skeleton key, plates and box. Beautiful detail in k**b and plates. Threw a few extras in there as a bonus.

Beautiful vintage oil crate. Amazing look and graphics. Freshly picked last night. Anybody needs a Christmas gift for a car guy or a guy that's into vintage petrol memorabilia. It's for sale.

Did some picking at a local auction today (Good way to pick when it is freezing out). On top of some bargain smalls for resale, I found this great console player for in my living room. My vinyl is going to sound great with this awesome vintage piece. $35 !?! Seriously!

Love the beautiful scroll writing and design on the inside of this old watch. On the inside where most people would never see it. It really shows you the thought and care craftsmen used to put into there work.
