I forgot to take some better pictures of these, so just had to do some on my display right before they sold! I thought to start doing mermaid themes based on different colorful sea creatures, so please meet the Harlequin Crab Mermaid and the Blue Seadragon Mermaid 😁. I hope to do more like these, please share some colorful ideas if you have any.

I really loved this project! I have done plenty of fairies holding babies, but with my own little one getting older I really felt like mothers with older children rarely get represented. I left her and her little one very simple, but I also think too much decoration would ruin the expression of it.

I did a couple angels for the holiday season since I had a couple old angel-winged base head and hands lying around. This one turned out super sweet, accented with silver and gold mylar threads and I tried my hand at a beaded band for her headband.

One of my favorite fairies I have ever done! This is the Forest Nymph! I have had her head and hands made for years and finally turned them into what they were meant for. The skirt is layers and layers and LAYERS of whisps of different greens, a braided belt, and dozens of individual flowers in her hair. She went home to a lovely lady with a child's simple joy at seeing my creations at Locavore.

This was my failed attempt at a first fairy for my Star Mobile, she turned out much to big for the hoop and the wool on her face started separating, which is impossible to fix without starting from scratch. The lady who bought her certainly didn't mind though, and I think in the end she turned out just as she needed to.

Tiny star mobile! Only about a 3" round hoop and an extra small fairy inside. I've been experimenting with seed bead shapes too. She actually took an extraordinarily long time because I kept adding things and taking them off, rebuilt it once when I made the fairy much too big and tried to make it work anyway, but the final product was super sweet!

I wanted to start doing mobiles, more delicate fairies in fun little scenes. This was my first attempt! A lovely little witch sitting on a pumpkin with her little cat at her feet and a full moon in the sky!

Hello all, it's been awhile, but I'm getting back into it! Be prepared for bombardment of photos of the new fairies I've been making.

I just finished Locavore Holiday Gift Faire and really enjoyed it. Hoping to put together a class sometime soon, I'll try and keep you posted.
