The Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park is looking a little extra spooky this time of year🌲👀🌲

Fall and Winter are *by far* the best times to visit the Hoh Rainforest! Here’s why:

1. No line to get in! During peak summer months, the wait time is 1-2 hours on average just to get a parking spot.

2. The colors and vibrancy of fall and winter make it even more magical! The rains bring so much life to this forest.

3. No snow! Easy flat roads to the sea-level make for a wonderful cold weather hike.

It’s helpful to know that the mountain bushes typically turn colors before the trees! Mid-end of September is prime time to see the colorful meadows, while early-mid October is prime time to see the golden larches and other fall trees🍁

We are beyond grateful to own and care for this beautiful cabin and for all of you who choose to follow and share our love for it!

It genuinely fills our hearts to not only provide a physical place where others can stay and explore the North Cascades National Park but also share it virtually with you every day.
