✔️ Reservation required, [email protected] with name, number of vehicles, and people in group
🚗 Space for 50 vehicles
📍 Mouse’s Tank/Petroglyph Canyon
🔥 Picnic area grills, and a few small fire pits will be available
🥾 Hike the trail self-guided or take the guided hike at 11:15 p.m. for a midnight countdown
🔦 Bring your own flashlight, food, beverages, and seating, telescopes
💰 Regular park day fee ($10/vehicle for NV-registered vehicles or $15/vehicle for non-NV vehicles), or annual Nevada State Parks pass.

Park closure notice. .of.fire will be closed from December 2 to December 15, 2024. Both entrances to the park will remain closed to all vehicle and pedestrian access, including day-use, camping, wedding events, group outings, and special use permits.

The closure is due to construction projects and needed maintenance. Park officials said they are dedicating time to give Nevada’s oldest State Park the care it desperately needs and deserves.

Traveling to to hike Valley of Fire State Park please take note.

Valley of Fire State Park will be closed for maintenance and construction projects from December 2 to December 15, 2024.

During this time, both entrances to the park will remain closed to all vehicle and pedestrian access, including day-use, camping, wedding events, group outings, and special use permits.

The Park’s infrastructure and resources have suffered as a result of increased visitation by those who love all that Valley of Fire has to offer, so we’re dedicating time to give Nevada’s oldest State Park the care it desperately needs and deserves.

While Valley of Fire is closed for construction, visitors are encouraged to explore other nearby Nevada State Parks such as Ice Age Fossils or Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort. In addition, visitors have a wide range of National Public Lands in the area to enjoy.
