He hope to come back, soon…

Usually, around this time of the year, our office in Khartoum would start to get hectic, full of people. The tourist season is about to begin, and there are usually so many things to prepare to be ready for our first group trips in early October. 🎒🗺️

Now instead it is not possible to travel to Sudan, and the situation in Khartoum is surreal... Most of our team left the capital and our office is empty. The country is not ready yet to open its doors to foreign tourists. 😔

We miss a lot this time of the year and we look forward to being able to go back to organizing beautiful expeditions like the one in the picture, in a safe and peaceful country, as it has been for many years... 🤞

🌄 The view from Jebel Barkal is always been one of our clients' favorite moments. On one side, you can appreciate the pyramids and the endless expanse of the desert, while on the other side, the Nile and the village of Karima come into view. The sense of calm and peace, especially during sunset, is cherished by both the local youth and visitors.

In these challenging times, as Khartoum faces safety concerns, many people have been compelled to leave everything behind and seek refuge in Nubian villages like this one. Here, they hope to find that same peace and tranquility that has been disrupted elsewhere.

This is an experience that truly captures the beauty of this country and we are looking forward to bringing tourists here again in the near future.

We could call them M/Y Andromeda news!!!! They have arrived in Marsa Alam! The weather is not the best, there is a lot of wind: the usual from the North. Tomorrow morning they will be in Hurghada!!!
A bit tight but everyone is fine!!! The crew will be exhausted, the kitchen is working h 24!!! They are heroes!😱😱😱

Thanks must also be extended to the Italian and German embassies in Khartoum and Cairo. All connected to facilitate permits and disembarkation and assistance on arrival 😊👏👏👏👏👏

An hour ago M/Y Andromeda left P.Sudan with a precious cargo: the guests of Elegante, Don Questo, Felicidad, all together. No danger for the people: having completed the cruises, unfortunately on their come back to arbor, they found that flights were still suspended and the airspace closed. As many as 72 guests, agents and crew will reach Hurghada in Egypt together. We really thank the captain, the crew of Andromeda and the owners for their generous gesture and the great ospitality. We thank سو ابراهيم and his team who managed to find solutions. It is not an escape, let's say a rather articulate and original re-entry.
Unfortunately, behind the two contending generals, there are the major powers that now find every useful theatre of their own quarrels. For their own strategic and economic benefit. Who cares about the country and the people anyway? A Middle Ages with the power and weapons of the 2.000 😡

Everyone in P.Sudan is fine 😊.
I am thinking about our Sudanese friends. I spoke recently with my dear friend Ibrahim: the boats are in the sea cruising, they have two weeks safari, everything is quiet at the moment. Dear beloved Sudan you are always in our hearts. It saddens and frightens us that there will be yet another conflict and that no negotiation and peace will be found.
Sto pensando intensamente ai nostri amici sudanesi. Ho parlato da poco con il caro amico Ibrahim: le barche sono fuori in crociera, al momento è tutto tranquillo. Caro amato Sudan sei sempre nei nostri cuori. Dispiace e spaventa un ennesimo conflitto e che non si trovi negoziazione e pace.
