🎆 There are many ways to ring in the New Year at Walt Disney World! 🎇

Pro Tips:
✔️ Allow yourself extra time - the parks will be extremely busy on these days so plan accordingly for crowds & longer transportation times.
✔️ If you’re eating at quick service restaurants, utilize the Mobile Order feature in your My Disney Experience app - you’ll thank me later. 😉

🦛 If you’re wanting to elevate your vacation at Walt Disney World and you are traveling with an animal lover or adventurer, the Wild Africa Trek was phenomenal! 🐊

Our guides and animal experts were incredibly knowledgeable and exhibited a fantastic love of what they do! They answered questions about the animals, they’re care, history of Animal Kingdom, etc.

We were a group of 12 so it was small and quaint. We trekked on suspended rope bridges over a bloat of hippos, hiked terrain, got within 10 feet of Nile crocodiles and ate heavy Hors d’Oeuvres of Africa-inspired cuisine overlooking the western savannah of Kilimanjaro Safari.

This was a 1st for me and my family and is a perfect way to “plus” a vacation for experienced Walt Disney World travelers. I cannot recommend this enough!

Oh - and no need to bring your camera along! Our guides took pictures of all trekkers, the animals, scenery, anything we requested! You can enjoy and live in the moment while they document your adventure!

This experience can be booked 60 days prior to your check-in day and has very limited spaces per day. Don’t delay in booking!

It’s going to be a W I L D day today at Disney’s Animal Kingdom - we’re embarking on the Wild Africa Trek - a privately-guided, VIP expedition full of close encounters with exotic African wildlife!

We will be walking along a grassland path, crossing a rope bridge and riding in a rugged safari vehicle over an open savanna—with a chance to view African creatures including towering giraffes, powerful rhinos, hippos and crocodiles.

We’ll definitely work up an appetite during our trek. I can’t wait to enjoy some first-class, African-inspired snacks overlooking the beautiful Kilimanjaro Safari savannah.

Today, I’m thrilled to spotlight an extraordinary new addition to the magical productions onboard in the Walt Disney Theatre: Disney The Tale of Moana! 🌊🌀

One of the standout features of this Broadway-caliber show is the incredible puppetry designed by Michael Curry, the visionary behind the groundbreaking puppets in The Lion King on Broadway. Adding an extra layer of magic, the puppetry brings the story and beloved characters to life in a way that feels larger than life.

Aaron Sala, the show’s music and cultural consultant, has shared that special care was taken to ensure the performance honors the diverse Pacific Island cultures that inspired Moana. This respect for cultural accuracy extends to the cast itself - The Tale of Moana features the most diverse cast ever assembled on a Disney Cruise Line stage. It’s a testament to Disney’s commitment to authenticity and representation, making this production as meaningful as it is magical. 🌺🌟

In addition to The Tale of Moana, you can also find Beauty and the Beast and the original stage spectacular, Disney Seas the Adventure, on stage in the Walt Disney Theater. These shows are a must-see for both adults and children when sailing on the Disney Treasure!
